Łukasz Zięba comes from Kraków and has had an extraordinary journey through the world of dance. From an early age, he trained in gymnastics and was a member of the Polish National Junior Team. At the age of 16, he fell in love with dance, and after only a few years of training, he graduated from the Kraków Dance Academy in 2012, receiving a professional diploma from ZASP. That same year, he won the Best Solo Award at the Dance World Cup in Villach, Austria. Shortly afterward, he moved to New York, where he began studying at The Ailey School on a full scholarship.

From 2014 to 2025, he was a member of the ballet company at The Metropolitan Opera in New York, performing in the biggest operatic productions at Lincoln Center. In the 2015/2016 season, he joined Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, where he danced in works by Jiří Kylián, Cayetano Soto, Jorma Elo, Fernando Melo, and Alejandro Cerrudo. He also collaborated with ensembles such as Company XIV, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Emery LeCrone Dance, konverjdans, and LED Boise.

He is a choreographer for the Polish edition of “You Can Dance – Po prostu tańcz!”, in which he himself placed second as a dancer in 2009.
