Yasmin Iriel Frione CONTEMPORARY | FLOORWORK | ACROBATICS| IMPROVISATION

Yasmin Iriel Frione is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, acrobat, and teacher. She graduated from the Ballet Junior de Genève, where she performed repertoires by choreographers such as Hofesh Shechter, Maguy Marin, Barak Mashall, Rachid Ouramdane, Thomas Hauert, Olivier Dubois, among others.

Professionally, she has worked as a full-time dancer in the national company UNSAM Dance, the Araiz Company (Oscar Araiz), the Swiss company Alias (Guilherme Botelho), Kinema Cia, among others. She was also a performer at Danse Élargie in Paris and received recognition at the International Focus on Contemporary Dance with the south Korea Bora Kim’s company. Currently, she works as a freelance dancer with companies such as Wonderground Company (Barcelona), Vanholzers (Viena), collaborating with choreographers including Tom Weksler, Roser Tutusaus, and Raphael Miro Holzer among others.

Yasmin is the choreographer and founder of SYSTEM, creating many works such as the trilogy Sistemas de Fuga or her solo Retro Vision, presented in festivals and theaters across South America and Europe. The company is currently based in Barcelona, where the new production Ecce Femme is scheduled to tour in 2026.

As a teacher and director, she founded the Movement Research School Espacio Acuña in Buenos Aires and developed the pedagogical approach Movimiento 360° which integrates tools from dance, acrobatics, and physical theater. She has shared workshops across Europe and Latin America within festivals and companies such as B12 Research or Die, SIC Dance Festival, Tanzfaktur, Bluebox, Kataklò Athletic Dance Theatre, NunArt, Marameo, Cie Toula Limnaios, among many others. She continues her independent research in movement, acrobatics, and interdisciplinary stage practices.
