Krzysztof Kęsek TAIJI FOR DANCERS

Krzysztof Kęsek is one of the most decorated specialists in Chinese martial arts in Poland, teaching Chen-style taiji, Shaolin, and Sanshou. He holds the fifth-dan rank of master from the International Wushu Federation.
He co-founded the Polish Wushu Association, where he served as the national team coach. As an athlete, he won the Polish Championship title multiple times and medals at the World, European, and World Cup Championships in full-contact fighting. He also achieved success in sports, Shaolin style, and Taiji. He was awarded the title of Sportsman of the Year in 2000.

He developed his martial arts skills at the Beijing Wushu Academy and under the tutelage of distinguished masters such as Zhang Fen Yun, Cui Ya Hui, and Yang Shi. He perfected his fighting skills under the tutelage of Liu Yinpeng and studied the Shaolin style with GM Shi Su Gang of the legendary Shaolin Temple. Since 2001, he has been a student of GM Chen Xiaowang. In 2009, he was accepted into the circle of his close students and recognized as an official representative of the 20th generation of Chen taiji style. He also trained with masters such as Chen Xiaoxing, Chen Yinjun, Chen Ziqiang, David Gafney, Chen Bing, and Jan Silberstorff. Since 2019, he has continued his studies with GM Wang Haijun, considered one of the best Chen style teachers in the world.

He conducts training for actors, stuntmen, security personnel, and at the University of the Third Age. He pioneered taiji fitness training in Poland.
