Michał Strugarek – Dancer since 2004. A graduate of Dance in Physical Culture, specializing in dancer – choreographer. Throughout most of your adventures with dance, with street styles (mainly Hip hop Freestyle Dance) and with street culture.
During studies and learning about contemporary dance, as well as all methods, methods and supporting tools. The world of contemporary dance allows him to explore and find between all things that have been defined, as well as channeling these experiences into creative, universal creation. Inspired by the activities of Bruce Lee and his concept of „Style of no style”, it tries to be his universal tools, independent of the prevailing aesthetics, which puts the possibility of owning oneself first.
He sets the same goal when conducting classes, so that the participant can be the leader himself and be able to constantly refresh and expand his movement language.
I spent 2018 and 2019 traveling to acquire new values - learning, exchanging, performing. Among other things, he spent three months in Israel, attending the Suzanne Dellal Center for daily GaGa classes. He also visited and studied in Amsterdam, London and Brussels. Dancer in the play entitled „Wolves” – choreography by Emma Evelein (Netherlands), who received the audience award during the nomination for the Kurt Jooss Prize 2019 in Essen.
Co-creator and dancer in the show entitled „Heavy Mental” awarded during the Hip Hop w Teatru festival (2018). Dancer in the improvised performance „Connected/Disconnected”, concept by Patryk Gorzkiewicz. Multiple educator at the Cyrkulacje Festival. Teacher during the National Contemporary Dance Workshops in Połczyn Zdrój. He collaborated with Natalia Izaniec, Agnieszka Noster, Agnieszka Doberska, Zofia Tomczyk, Aleksandra Bożek-Muszyńska and Andrzej Adamczak. In his free time – music producer, photographer, filmmaker, DJ.
